Darren began his training in London with Toni and Guy and received his diploma in hair dressing. After working closely with Toni and Guy, he quickly became involved in London Fashion Week and was a regular on runway shows for designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon & Amanda Wakelely, to name a few.

Darren was head hunted by a L’Oreal company called Head Masters, where he was appointed Creative Director. Working at Head Masters, he spearheaded many shoots and educational hair styling seminars which took him around the world. Darren later became a key artist on the L’Oreal artistic team, heading up creative shoots for the brand & working on numerous L’Oreal sponsored fashion shows for London Fashion Week.

Darren’s extensive training and talent led him to be an extremely sought after hair stylist & groomer in London and worldwide. He works regularly on editorial photo shoots for clients such as Hunger Magazine, Elle Magazine, Tank, Harper’s Bazaar, Flaunt, and many more. Darren is also the primary Grooming Editor at 7^th Man Magazine where he works with photographers such as John-Paul Pietrus, Sarah Dunn, Dimitris Theocharis, Diana Gomez & Thomas Falmer.

Whilst craving variety and always wanting to expand his skill set, Darren has become a well-known hair stylist & groomer in the TV world as well. He has worked on shows such as X Factor UK, Britain’s Next Top Model, Project Catwalk and many more.

His celebrity client list is expansive, ranging from royalty to supermodels & popstars. His infectious personality and unrivaled talent have made him a client favorite with celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Eva Longoria, Lady Helen Taylor, Kim Cattrall, Erin O’Connor, Yasmin Le Bon & Kelly Osbourne, to name a few.  In the music world, Darren has become a go-to hair stylist for musicians such as Angel Haze, Taylor Momsen, Jessie Ware, Little Dragon, Paulina Rubio & Jake Bugg.

He’s become as well known for his glamorous up-dos on the red carpet as he is for his edgy editorial styles. Ever the chameleon, Darren is able to adapt to any client’s hair style needs based on his incredibly wide range of experience and collaborative attitude.

Darren has recently relocated to Los Angeles from London where he continually finds inspiration for his ever broadening client base and expertise.
