Born in Northern, CA, John moved to New York to study photography at 18.  Finding community through noncomformity, John began creating incredible wigs and hair pieces for their portrait subjects and those around them. A fascination with the in-betweens of glamour and artifice lead to crafting a unique perspective in the hair world. 

John’s process champions their commitment to self expression, creating bespoke hair looks through collaboration with clients. A wig artisan and color specialist extraordinaire, John’s client and collaborations include downtown favorites Julia Fox & Richie Shazam, Rowan Blanchard, Aaron Rose Philip, musicians Kehlani, Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX, Pink Pantheress, Kali Uchis, Bebe Rexha, and directors Chloe Sevigny and Aidan Zamiri. John is a go-to stylist for brands Marshall Columbia, Bose, Muji, Puma, H&M, Gryphyn and Willie Norris Workshop. John’s work is featured in Interview, NY Mag, Paper, Office, VOGUE and Cosmopolitan.
