Fashion Stylist Dean Hau is highly respected, recognized, and internationally renowned across the fields of editorial, commercial and celebrity styling  having built up an international reputation in the fashion industry. 

As of January 2017 he splits his time between London and Los Angeles, where he works with clients on both continents.

Since 2010 he has fronted and commanded the creation of Seventh Man Magazine, a respected men’s fashion glossy independent bi-annual title which is stocked in over 42 countries worldwide and has gained a huge cult following. As Editor-In-Chief and Fashion Director, Dean oversees all editorial content; ensuring the copy is coherent with the magazine’s vision and leads a team that is spread across the world. He is responsible for casting all creative personnel and talent for the magazine, from photographers to models, and celebrity features. For Seventh Man alone, he has worked with high-profile names such as David Gandy, Jon Kortajarena, and Tom Ford, to name a few. Dean’s extensive back-log of contacts from his work over the years allows him to connect with some of the best talent in the fashion industry.  Dean’s Seventh Man editorial has allowed him to work with a diverse mix of brands and designers, from up and coming designers to the likes of Versace and beyond. He is a favorite to sit front row during fashion week for the luxury brands.  

Dean began his career in fashion starting out as an intern at legendary London magazine The FACE, which lead him to studying photography at Central Saint Martins. Thisallowed him to develop his visual intelligence. Although he loves and flourishes into styling, he still has a love for photography and film, with Polaroid being his preferred aesthetic.

Dean has been to work for a wide range and extensive list of publications across the globe, including L’Uomo Vogue, Essential Homme, and GQ Style. His hands-on approach and proven ability to work at the highest standard, has allowed him to grow extensive and personal relationships with designers such as Burberry, Acne Studios, Ermengildo Zegna, and Vivienne Westwood. 

Outside of the office, Dean’s passion includes horse riding and in his spare time, competes in the world of dressage, which is a 3 day riding event with his horse Aucun. Dean lives for his 2 Frenchies, Coco and Chloe! He also loves to travel and take roads trips to remote places with his backpack and dogs in tow, exploring nature and taking hikes, which help to inspire his work.
