Having traveled the world to explore the meccas of spirituality, Castillo draws from the environment around him, finding art and beauty in everything that nature brings us. He is also himself a walking demonstration of art with his ever growing collection of body art. Bataille is always concocting something with a fresh and present perspective.

Castillo’s fascination with hair manifested while studying Visual Communications at the acclaimed Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles. Following his formal education, he immersed himself in his craft, spending 3 years learning from those at the top of their craft.

Once Bataille set out on his own, he was equipped with the talent and knowledge, coupled with his positive energy and incredible smile, that made him an instant success with some of the most beautiful women in the world including Halle Berry, Ruby Rose, Priyanka Chopra, Bella Thorne, Ava Max, Hailey Baldwin and Lucy Hale. His work has also covered the pages of Glamour, W Magazine and more.
